She enjoys the legal field and finds great satisfaction in developing solutions to tough legal questions. Raquel has numerous family members who are part of the legal profession and is proud to give back to her community by helping others in their time of need.

Raquel obtained her Bachelor of Ministry degree in Secondary Education from Golden State Baptist College and worked as an educator for two years before pivoting to professional writing and then, later, the legal field. She has published five children’s books, one book of poetry, various arts and entertainment articles, and has also written numerous legal articles.

Outside of the office, Raquel enjoys traveling to new places with her husband, John, and service dog, Bear. Their favorite place on the map to date is Kona, Hawai’i. She is a big fan of Gordan Ramsay and loves trying out new recipes to share with family and friends. She is especially proud of the fact that the smoke alarm sounding is no longer an established part of her cooking experiments.
